Paneltim Base

This panel has been developed with creators in mind, flexibility to choose your own external layer to fit your customers' needs without sacrificing what makes Paneltim Panels unique. Consisting of an Multipower Panel - the strongest panel in our range - with a laminated polyester backing for maximum adhesion for a wide variety of materials. 

The Paneltim Base ensures optimal adhesion – ideal for various adhesives and finishes. The polyester backing on top of a Paneltim Multipower panel provides a strong, reliable connection, making the panel versatile for a wide range of applications.

Thanks to the lightweight yet robust 50 x 50 mm internal cell structure, the panel is easy to process with standard tools and can be welded together for custom work. The Paneltim panel has the necessary structural integrity and impact resistance to support itself independently without external reinforcements. The closed cell structure makes it waterproof. 

Processing

Technical Advice

Our lightweight panels are easily workable with standard tools and, therefore, suitable for custom solutions. The panels are easy to drill, mill, saw, and screw. Moreover, they offer the optimal adhesion for polymer glue, 2K epoxy and divers primers. On top of that, you have the possibility to weld panels together, which gives you endless possibilities!

Paneltim is strongly committed to sustainability and striving for a circular economy. In this perspective, off-cuts of the Paneltim Base can be collected through our buy-back program. The panel can be processed into a new PP stream via an adapted recycling program. Feel free to contact us for more information about our buy-back program or contact your local recycling center for the collection of hard plastic fractions.

The Paneltim base features a sophisticated five-layer design, engineered for optimal performance and versatility:

1. Polyester backing: A symmetrical outer layer on both sides
2. An adhesive layer to bond the fabric with the panel. 
3. Multipower core: The central component, providing strength and stability
4. Adhesive layer: Mirroring the second layer for symmetry
5. Polyester backing: Matching the first layer 
   
   

This symmetrical structure preserves the Multipower core's inherent shape, form, and strength. The inclusion of a Polyester layer, securely laminated to the panel using high-performance adhesive, ensures robust bonding with a wide range of materials.
